Summer is a particularly beautiful and pleasant season in the Vinschgau. The climate is mostly dry, and the temperature rises steeply. Ideal mountain weather for hikers, ideal swimming weather for water lovers.

There's something for everyone here in summer, nordic walking, numerous footpaths, easy and demanding as well as cycle paths, stretching along the valley.

On farms with cattle it's harvest time, the grass in the fields must be cut. Guests are more than welcome to help if they wish.   

They can also help out in the stables, something which has to be done 365 days a year. Those guests who enjoy horse riding will find plenty of opportunity to do so on our Vinschgau holiday farms.

After a strenuous day guests can relax on the farm, try home-made farm produce or stop at the farm inn and enjoy a hearty snack, not just in summer!
